The Start of Summer and Eyemazing

The weather's been very nice and sunny for the past few days in Vancouver, which is nice since I'm off school for a few weeks before my summer semester begins =).

It feels wonderful to wake up late, and not having to worry about studying for exams or completing assignments xD ~

However, a lot of my friends are still in the middle of their exams, so I wish them the best of luck! 

I was just thinking the other day that it's been so long since I last went to watch a movie.  I heard a lot of good things about Limitless and Sucker Punch, so I would really love to go watch those when I have the chance.

Yesterday, I tried the Eyemazing #1 Lashes that I wrote about on my last post.   

 

By the way, I'm wearing EOS Adult Brown (E203) circle lenses here ~

They are one of my favourite brown circle lenses because they are so comfortable and so natural looking.  They enhance my dark brown eyes, without looking overly dramatic. 

Overall, I really love these lashes! They were very comfy and easy to use.  The only downside is that they are bit too dramatic for everyday use.  I was going to try on the lower lashes as well, but I was too lazy ^o^. 

Since yesterday was such a beautiful sunny day, I decided to wear a dress ~

In the end, I stuck with white boots since the brown/camel boots didn't match my floral jacket

Cupcakes and Lashes

I'm officially done with all my finals and can finally spend some time blogging again! :D

The Vancouver weather's been really on and off lately.  One day it's bright and sunny, and then rainy and hailing (even snowing) the next. Well I guess I can't really complain since I've been home almost everyday stuck in my room or at the school library studying haha xD.

But it would be nice if it was warm and sunny... I've started fantasizing about wearing summer clothes and going out for shopping on Robson and late night walks along the beach.  Luckily, it won't be too long until summer =)

Anyways, I got a new package in the mail a few days ago:

Top: Jewerich #3 lower lashes, Melliesh #1; Bottom: Eyemazing #1, Jewerich #1

I've heard so many good things about Eyemazing and Melliesh, so I decided to give them a try.  For Jewerich, they looked pretty nice and the packaging was really cute, so I ordered them as well.  I will find some time to write reviews for them soon ^o^.

I also received a small gift from my piano student today ~

I opened my door and my piano student jumps right in:

"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY! This is for you"

She was holding it up to me with a huge smile on her face.

So cute! >///< And she had on a princess tiara today with a cute polka dot dress ~

It's Finals Season Again!

I really should be studying... but everyone deserves a study break from time to time! Haha well it's exam season once again, and I have my first final tomorrow, which I'm nowhere near ready for it >.>.  But I'll be fine as long as I finish reading all the material before I head to bed tonight ^o^y...

Anyways, I just got some new items from the mail today =D.

Phone Charm + Rillakuma + Random

I always love to add some decorations to everything I wear.  I just love details ^o^.
That includes my phone.  I really like adding phone charms onto my phone to give it a more personal and unique feeling, since my phone is usually around me 24/7 =D.

For a while now, I've been using these Liz Lisa phone charms which I got from Makiko Online Store.  I purchased 2 from them: one with a pink bow and pink ball + one with a pink bow and white ball.

 
In the end, I lost both of them :'(.  One of them fell down the sewer when I was getting out of my friend's car on a rainy day, and another one I lost on the bus.  I was so sad when I lost them...I seem to be losing a lot of things lately >"<.  I guess the hooks holding everything together got a bit loose and that's what made them fall apart so easily.  At least for the second one, only the bear got lost. ~



Well, either way, I recently got a new Rilakkuma phone charm. A bit big as a phone charm in my opinion, but it's still really soft and cute! *o*

Drama I'm Watching + Wishlist

Just felt like posting a random blog about this drama that I'm currently watching.  It's called "My Princess," starring Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee.  After seeing it on the #1 spot of the top 25 dramas list on mysoju.com for months and hearing so many people talking about it (I see people watching it during class too), I decided to give it a try....and I loved it!

It's about this girl who discovers that she's a princess one day, and her life gets turned upside down.  Although the story's a bit typical, I don't mind indulging myself in a fairy tale once a while, especially when it's filled with good looking actors and actresses =P.  Kim Tae Hee, acting as Lee Seol, is such a great actress!  She portrays her role's feelings sooo realistically that I can almost feel her emotions as well!  Song Seung Hung is a pretty good actor too and he's....

HOT! Enough said haha xD. I'm currently on the 11th episode... and I forgot what episode he appeared half naked in, but I'm sure fangirls out there must have been screaming when he appeared like this lol =). 

Anyways, I also wanted to post a few items that I have on my wishlist at the moment.

My First Blog Post!

Now how should I start my first post? ~

I often wonder why it's so difficult to start writing something... like an essay or a paper...

I would stare into space and think and think... but still don't know how to start writing.
To me, that's probably the hardest part in writing something.  But once I get started, everything rushes into my head and it becomes much easier... ~

So here it is.  My very first blog post.  I've always wanted to start a blog, but never had a chance to.  Recently, I've been following a few blogs such as Ekimura's... (she's gorgeous! =P) and a few other ones that inspired me to start too.  I'll treat it as an online journal...just something to spend some spare time on ^o^ ~

Anyways, today was like any other day.  Started off my day with Japanese class.  I got my oral test back... and despite the teacher repeating over and over again that everyone did horribly... I actually did much better than i thought xD.  At least now that mark will balance off my writing composition test mark haha ~

After that, I had English literature class, and then headed home after to get ready for my student club's (CSA's) formal dinner.

Circle Lenses: EOS Jewel Series in Brown

And this was what I wore to the dinner...

By the way, this was my first time wearing these circle lenses: EOS Jewel Series in Brown.  I was a bit skeptical at first because I usually wear 14.0mm circle lenses and this was my first time wearing 14.5mm ones.  But they were very comfortable and they were so pretty!  I wore them for 8+ hours and they didn't feel dry at all =)

For dinner, we went to The Helm Restaurant on Howe St., beside the Holiday Inn.  The ambiance was really nice.  Lighting was dark, with dim lights and candles (very romantic and mesmerizing!).  Decorations were really nice too.  After taking pictures together, we sat down and waited for our meal to start.  It was a set menu for us last night.  We started off with a delicious creamy soup, which unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of.  We then moved on to an entree: ravioli with a creamy sauce.

For the main course, we had a choice between beef and fish, which I chose beef (of course!)

For dessert, we had a chocolate brownie topped with peanut butter and banana...

It was a tad bit too sweet for me (which is unusual haha xD), so I didn't end up finishing it.  But I really enjoyed it nonetheless.  Service was really good.  The waiters and waitresses were super friendly and constantly added water for us.  There's a bar there as well, and the drinks were pretty good.  The blasting music added a touch of excitement and energy to the dinner.  Overall, I'll give it a 8/10.  The only thing I didn't like about it was that the food came out very slowly.  The whole dinner took 3+ hours.  Other than that, I'll still recommend this restaurant.  Delicious food and good service!
